{     Poketo • Winter o7' - o8'     }    

Since it’s introduction into my life, Poketo has been consistently one of the most artistically innovative merchants I have come across. With their recent releases, which include new signature Poketo apparel and decorative plate sets, I can say without hesitation that the line from Poketo just got kicked up a notch.

The “Birds of a Feather” plate set, design by Oksana Badrak, is absolutely stunning. With a more then aviary look at nature’s intended design, the color and interpretive view on the flora and the fauna will make you feel like jumping into the design itself (which I don’t intend trying, considering the plates are plastic and therefore NOT a portal for transportation to imaginary worlds...even if it worked in Mary Poppins).

A standout in the apparel section is a really cool design by MWM, “Stella Azure” (which is in fact a revision on an ongoing watercolor series, B&W Bangers). The shimmer on this shirt is actually going to come through with the shimmer color placed on the design. Once again, Poketo manages to maintain the quality and assure it’s long closet life by maintaing it will stand up to the frequent wear it will certainly receive. Fan-tastic.

Finally, I have to add that the ongoing Poketo wallet line has only fattened up with more amazing new designs. I’m starting to wonder if Poketo rounded up a field of grazing talented artists and just has them at a farm somewhere, because with the constant ingenious inclusions to their portfolio there has to be a catch somewhere. Another note to those who are looking over the site is to be sure to check out all of the sections of their offerings. After all, where else can you get some Mood Bottle Openers to fulfill your need to have a beer, no matter how you feel?
