{ Nixon 51-30 }

When I first got a look at Nixon’s new “51-30” I thought to myself, “Now that’s a fine looking watch. I wonder how that’d look on my wrist.” A few days later, I managed to get my wish but something was amiss. When I held this watch in my gaze, the only thing that ran through my mind was “That’s no watch, it’s a space station.”
The Nixon 51-30 (and 51-30 PU) is a pretty nifty watch, but it gives the definition of the word ginormous a whole new meaning (the name 51 comes from the watch’s size, 51mm). The face on this watch is huge...VERY huge. God, if you believe in such a being, in all his infinite wisdom decided to make me a tall, lanky sort of fella with pretty rail like wrists. When I put this watch on, it’s made ever the more evident.
Now none of this means you’re going to look like you’re wearing a novelty watch. This watch is actually pretty damn cool. It was designed by the Malloy brothers of surf fame (Dan, Chris, and Keith) who “wanted something easy to read under water.” They can definitely say, with honor, mission accomplished.
It’s hard to miss on cool timepieces at Nixon and the 51-30 is no exception.
