{ Simple Shoes }
Earth day has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean we have to struggle to choose how we can remain eco-friendly. The choice is so easy, it’s Simple. Simple shoes isn’t just a means of fashion but a way of life. They believe that how they make shoes is as important as why they make shoes. With a wide variety offered, it’s hard to look away from this eco-friendly shoemaker. The Simple brand offers more then just comfort of the sole, but comfort of the soul.
Recently I had the privilege to get my feet into a few pieces of their product and I was simply blown away. When most people hear the term “eco-friendly” and “fashion” they have a tendency to cringe. They imagine burlap sacks tied to their waists or product that will simply fall apart because of it’s environmental association. Simple proves that there is no need to fear, as their line of shoes (as well as other exceptional items like their assorted shirts and bags) are definitely high quality. Even I was surprised at their durability and astounding comfort!
I’d like to specifically showcase the design of their Toe Foo Sandal, made all the more unique by surfer/artist Tyler Warren. Organic and expressive is one thing, but putting that together with comfort is a rare find. Need something a little more toe-covering friendly? Check out the Men's Waldo-Leather Shoes. Again, a product from Simple that has comfort and ecologically sound fitting together.
All in all, Simple shoes does what most industries should aspire to do: they reach for and attain the possibility of running a successful “green” business, and they do a damn good job of it too.
