Admittedly, this wasn't a hard list to make. It just took a dirty mind and a list of Joe names. Maybe it's a little juvenile and lacking in imagination....

I tried to keep the list limited mostly to G.I. Joe names from the 80's. Some of the more recent ones are so damn ridiculous (like Long Arm) you'd swear the designers were in on the joke and just trying to one-up each other.

It is very entertaining to look differently at Joes: once toys to be taken very seriously, today jokes. Especially funny to realize today I am also thinking about who designed them and had to create all that stuff to go with them. Those must be some guys with very bad lives!

Oh, and Wet Down was also one of my favourites!

I can't believe Ice Cream Soldier is actually a G.I. Joe name. I bet all the guys at the G.I. Blow Film headquarters make fun of him.
