{     Zao "The Fear Is What Keeps Us Here"     }    

Pennsylvania based Zao teamed up with Steve Albini on their new album and it fucking kicks ass. It's absolutely amazing what Albini can do by recording a band. Zao have gone from being a pretty good hardcore crossover outfit to a full fledged force of nature with Mr. Big Black Shellac tweaking the knobs. Way to kiss that played out metalcore label goodbye Zao!
