7Up Gold? I don't remember this at all. But now I want some with a thirst nigh on unslakeable.
I also want some Moxie. I've only seen it up in Maine, but lord-a-mercy what a beverage!
Posted by: benjamin at July 28, 2004 1:50 AMWhat about that cola "it"? (I think that was the name) : marketed in the early 90's, and had a GREAT design by Dan Clowes...
Posted by: Mimi at September 10, 2004 4:05 AMhow could the pepsi cool cans just disappear like that. I wouldnt blame it on the Quiet Riot song on the commercials, that soda was metal!!!!!
Posted by: paul at September 14, 2004 6:10 AM7Up gold wasn't very good.
the soda that dan clowes did the illustrations for was "OK" cola.
you can mailorder all kinds of weird sodas from http://www.sodapopstop.com, or if you're in LA, stop by Galcos in highland park in person.
Posted by: chadski at October 15, 2004 8:50 PMI thought 7up gold was a good soda. does anyone remember ragin' rasberry pepsi/diet pepsi? or, how about pepsi XL or pepsi A.M.
Posted by: dultra1 at December 24, 2004 3:00 AMI livein New Haven CT. I am desperately trying to find Tahitian Treat sods.

Posted by: floyd miles at May 7, 2005 8:09 PMOK soda is at the top of my list. tasted like a graveyard, appealed to my then need to feel older (with the graphic art cans by charles burns and dan clowes- little did I know then, they just made me feel good and angst-y), and gave me something to do when no one picked me to dance at my middle school mixers. I still have my promotional stickers and they are the first thing hung the minute I get into a new place.
everything is going to be ok...."okay-ness"
A sweetheart's kiss can be like drinking a bottle of Fresca. Sweet and invigorating.
