{     Things that make God sad     }

I had a talk with the Big Cheese last night, and he wanted me to share this list with you.

1. The radical and violent faction of the pro-life movement
2. Bush's "No Child Left Behind" Policy
3. Fox Television's "The Swan"
4. Sean Hannity's new book
5. The Patriot Act
6. That damn Mel Gibson movie about my son
7. Trucker Hats
8. When they stopped making E.T. breakfast cereal in the mid-80's
9. People who take the Bible literally
10. War (the act of senseless violence, not the 70's funk band. I kinda like them.)
11. The 2000 Presidential Election
12. The 2004 Presidential Election

I bet if someone made a movie about the life of Gautama Buddha, not a single person would have any problems with it. Funny how that works out. It's just a movie! You wanna talk about something that would piss God off: Kill Bill was artfully produced, but obscenely violent and gratuitous. Oh, and I'm SURE God is cool with all the dead babies who were an inconvenience for their mothers. (25% of our generation was denied the right to live before they ever saw the light of day). That same mentality would allow, no, promote war (something I'm not fond of either)- "I have the right to chose what is convenient for me... Your country/ people are making my life more difficult than need be, so I'll exterminate you." Holocaust, anyone?

This quote of yours works both ways, Matt-
"I have the right to choose what is morally correct for the world... Your country/people are living a life I don't agree with, so I'll exterminate you." Holocaust, anyone?

It would work both ways if I believed in crimes of violence against abortion clinics and doctors...which I certainly do not. Those people don't represent the pro-life majority. ALL life should be ALWAYS respected.

Good job on tweaking number one.

You forgot to add god's sadness concerning Manifest Destiny and how it was used for the justification of the expatriots Brits to swallow up the rest of the present day U.S. from its indigenous peoples.
Not to mention that they also quit mass producing Boo-Berry cereal...now that was pimp.
