{     "United" from House Industries     } UNITED is the latest font to form out of House Industries, the Delaware-based type foundry, illustration studio, and design firm that markets unique fonts and artwork to the worldwide advertising and design trades. The peace-loving type designers at House Industries have taken inspiration from old military vehicle lettering specimens (and their childhood love of G.I. Joe action figures) to create the United font family. This is the largest-known USA font family ever released, featuring Sans, Serif and Italic styles, each in seven different weights and five different widths for a total of 105 unique fonts. Ellen Lupton, curator of the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, offers high praise: "Just as the world was beginning to fear that typography was getting soft, along came United from House Industries, and not a moment too soon... United is a tough font family for tough times. No prissy ligatures or sad-sack subtleties to be found here, my friend. This vast, multi-weight family shows that it is indeed possible for one big world to speak in one big voice..."

Oh, and I didn't write 97% of this - most is from the press release. Why? Because I can. The font is rad, House is cool, and how much can you say about a font?!?!
