This book showcases amazing illustrators, designers and photographers living and working in Iran today. As the author writes "This book... will give you an insight into the real Iran, other than what the BBC or CNN news would give you." Only understanding Iran through the news clearly discredits the creativity and culture that exists. Mark Batty Publishers has done a great job offering this book at an interesting time in our lives. The book is beautifully designed and full of stunning work. It amazes me how the difference in typography really lends itself to a totally different aesthetic.
