{     NoStore     }

nostore.jpg NoStore is a new ongoing and always evolving charity project featuring some of Crown Dozen's favorite artists selling their work and wares with 50% of the the money getting mailed off to various non-profit and just general do-good type places of the artists' choice. The store currently features works by the likes of Jon Burgerman, Niko Stumpo (of Aiko fame), TADO, Mauro Gatti, and Peskimo, with many more artists in the works. This is a great chance for you to get some limited edition work for your walls for a low, low price and not only make your home look better, but make someone else's life better as well. It's a good thing, go spend some money. Here's a quick rundown of who's doing what for the benefit of whom: TADO is Mike and Katie, two graphic designers, illustrators, toy designers, and more who have shown their signature cutesy-weird art everywhere from New York & Berlin to Hong Kong & France. You can find them at, or you can buy a print at the NoStore joint and help out the RSPCA. Crown Dozen alum Jon Burgerman can always be found walking away with a pencil in his hand, leaving napkins and scraps of paper covered in goofy drawerings of weirdos and strangers. He paints good too. He's totally international too, with shows in New York, LA, London, Hong Kong, Paris, Melbourne and some little places that you've never heard of. He's in the strangely evil, yet lovely collective Black Convoy and is a pretty laidback cat who calls his books of work "Hello Duudle". Check him out at and read words he actually said in our interview with the guy right here. Mr. Burger is giving money from his print to the Friends of the Earth. Mauro Gatti is a born and raised Italian illustrator/animator whom has been rocking the web, print, and motion mediums since 1998 with his amped up drawing style and funny ideas. Find his work at or buy his print from NoStore from which the proceeds go to Medecins Sans Frontiers. Peskimo are Jodie and David and they draw weird stuff that looks really bright and fun and Japanese. Kinda makes you wanna wear neon sunglasses jump around like a Japanese schoolgirl if you're into that kind of thing. Their site is and the proceeds from their print will go to Help the Aged. Finally we have my boy Niko Stumpo from the dark, cold land of Norway. He went to Italy, did some pro skateboarding, toured the world, broke some bones, started making cracked-out fiendishly rad art and started his own companies called HANAZUKI and Aiko. He's got an amazing clothing line and is about to open his own brick-and-morter store. His site wills care any kids in the room, but his one-of-a-kind, hand made puppets for sale at NoStore might make them feel better. Niko is sending his cash to
