{ Just Jack }

UK Hip Hop? Huh? Wha? Ya you may have heard of The streets, The Nextman, and several others. I was listening to the wonderful KCRW here in LA the other night and heard this track that stopped me in my tracks. The track is entitled Snowflakes. After buying the album, my opinion is that this is a very talented brit. His flow is thrown off at times by the accent and dare i say - proper use of language. The guy can sing as well - which brings a nice dimension to the music. This is not mind blowing music by any means - but a good all around album. I don't think a lot of people will be exposed to Just Jack - and if you are a hip hop junkie - hell a music junkie - you really need to give this album a spin. Contributed by Ness

Damn! I've been passing this album up all month because I just didn't know anything about it. Looked intriguing, definitely British, but I was clueless beyond that. Then I spent 50 clams on other shit, some of which is undoubtedly less entertaining than this. Well, at least now I know it's worth picking up, and that it's not a "Will and Grace" spin-off album of Jack's one-man show....
