{ Graniph Japan }

THE BASICS: Graniph is a sensational design company based in Japan, selling their wares in both an online store and several brick and morter fronts. Moving more T-shirts than anything else, they also sell cool handbags, bracelets, lighters and CDs. Design Tshirts Store Graniph, as they are called, has been collaborating with assorted enterprises and artists since 2001 and now sell over 150 different T-shirts, each one incredible in it's own right and a prize to own. The shirts are relatively inexpensive, 1 for $25, 2 for $40 and every single one completely worth the price you pay. These are some quality articles of clothing, each one beautifully designed and printed on high-quality tees. You will not be disappointed. THE FUN: So here's what happened... The good folks over at Graniph sent Shane several of their outstanding Tees to check out, and when I say several, I mean like 13. (They're some seriously nice folks.) Unfortunately for Shane, all of the shirts were a men's small... In other words, a perfect fit for me! I was unfamiliar with this company until Shane introduced me to them, but now that I have so many of their shirts, which by the way, are some of the best graphic tees I've ever seen, I'm all about them. Not only are the designs great, but these are some of the most comfortable shirts I've ever owned. And I've been able to sport one a day for two weeks straight. Unfortunately, (for me anyway) Graniph's website is mostly in Japanese and my Japanese, well, it doesn't exist. However, I'm confident that anyone can figure out how to order from the site as there is a little English and plenty of pictures. I can't wait to order some more. A note from Shane: The crew at Graniph is a super-nice bunch and can provide some English customer service if needed, so if you do have difficulty with the site, just drop them an e-mail and they'll take care of you! I am from Singapore and I would like to order some Tees from Graniph. But I do not know where and how to get them online. Could anyone help me on this issue? Any recommendations on how I can get them? Pls kindly advise.

Hi Jeremy,

I used to live in Singapore until recently and you are in luck as there is a shop in Far East Plaza (alas I forget the shop name) but it is on either the 3rd or 4th floor and it sells Graniph tshirts along with a few other Japanese and Hong Kong designed ones.

there's this shop called Sidewalk 10 at #03-84 far east plaza which sells graniph tees. =)

I was visiting friends in Tokyo this past April and I bought a bunch of Graniph t-shirts. They're so well made and some of the designs are incredible. They wash and wear really well too. They are also made in limited runs, so once a design is sold out you won't see that design again. Sometimes they do re-print a design in another colour which is also very cool. I sent the company an e-mail asking if they ship to Canada (where I'm from) and I never got an answer. Just wondering if anyone was able to order on line easily and if they ship outside of Japan? Otherwise I'll have to get my friends to bring me back a bunch...

Q2. You can send to the foreign country?
A2. There is no excuse, but has become delivery only of the Japanese country. In addition we do not receive either the order from the foreign country.

hey everyone, when i placed an order after this review i did in fact get it shipped to the USA, but that may have changed since. also, at that time i did receive a broken english reply to my email to them, but again, that also may have since changed... sorry i can't be more help...

For all European heads after Graniph tee's, I'm planning on heading out to Tokyo in the new year to purchase a load of tee's to export back to the UK. I've been trying to gauge opinion over the last few months as to the demand and I think the time is right for somebody to begin retailing in the UK. I'll post more details when I have them...

Can anyone tell me how to buy Graniph t-shirts in the U.S? I saw one on line today, but am worried that the particular graphic hit will be gone by the time Graniph opens here (per a rumor I heard from someone from Japan) I would appreciate any help. I know that 2Kshirts.com have some of them.

I have e mailed Graniph and they are expanding their stores. THey're now available in Singapore, taiwan, and Japan. THey will SOON open up a store in Hong Kong,I don't lnow how long soon is though. They're working on an online shop, but the internet site has been saying "opening soon" forever.
