ahhh, it hasn't been since marlena was possessed by satan way back in the day that i was this addicted to or even cared to watch "days"... but with the salem serial killer on the loose, i'm glued to the tube everyday at 1 p.m. on the dot... a veteran show that would have been cancelled, now has the highest ratings of any daytime soap due to the weekly killings of every important character on the show... no, they're not just getting rid of the occasional unimportant characters... the big names are going down... abe, caroline, maggie, jack, cassie, and now.... ROMAN of all people... and they aren't just being killed... they're being SLAUGHTERED... the best example and my personal favorite was the pinata cassie was stuffed in after she was stabbed many many many times... at a party in the town square, the pinata was hit in hopes of mountains of candy pouring out... instead, CASSIE came pouring out, along with at least 3 gallons of blood... oh it was lovely... so, will there be another killing??? i don't know... but psychic celeste has been visited by the deceased's ghosts and they tell her that if she doesn't figure out who the killer is (after all she is a psychic, you'd think this mystery would be a little easier to solve) more people will die... and the next victim seems to point to, you got it- bo brady... Finally, American soaps are getting just as wacky as Mexican soaps! Now if all the women on Days would start oiling up their cleavage, and all the guys would grow sleazy moustaches, all my "Dos Mujeres, Un Camino ala Americano" fantasies would come true.

my dad not only watches, but actually tapes "days of our lives." my sister and i used to spend the first part of our afternoons during the summer watching the show (this was during the marlena/satan era). he would emerge from the basement (after smoking what could only be presumed as a large amount of weed), watch for a few minutes, laugh hysterically, and chant, "DIE STEFANO, DIE!!" now that he's remarried, i guess his wife has deemed it okay for him to officially like it. go figure.

It's good to see the passion for shameless soaps is still alive, stacy! I have to say, I have always hated Marlena, as her perfection complex annoys the shit out of me, and hopefully she won't get out of being cut from the show just b/c they will find a way to blame it all on "evil" or the great Stefano and redeem her!! I want her "I can cry on cue" ass to be gone!! In non-killer deaths.. "WHY VICTOR, WHY??" (followed by sobs.. ) I miss him, he was deliciously evil. This plotline got me sucked back in for these last few months.. I might be proof that you should just let your kids watch their cartoons, instead of Days (came on at the same time after pre-school was over). Surely, my mind is warped.. I could turn that show on at any time and be able to figure what the hell is going on after 20 some years of having it baby-sit me. I'm still waiting for the "dark forces" to get back to me on that one though..

I can't believe how crazy this soap has gotten !!!
come on who actually dies and then ends up on some forsaken place watching their family and loved ones continue on with their lives . Actually I didn't like the episode where John and Bo go to the Funeral Home to ask questions about Marlana. Come on as a wife of a Funeral Director I find that very disturbing . I would also like to comment that the new Belle Black is not a very goode actress!!! she is nothing like the original Belle.

This is my favorite soap, no matter how gross it may seem. I heard a rumor that SAMMI will be leaving soon along with JOHN?! What do you think? I personally think that it is just a fake article, but with how Sammi has been latley, who knows.
