{ Bad Santa }
» just watch it
This one will be remembered just as fondly as "It's a Wonderful Life" and "A Christmas Story", just in a very different way. It apparently already holds the distinct honor of being the film in which the word "fuck" is spoken aloud the most times in the presence of children.
I can already see myself getting excited about watching this again next holiday season. Or even in the middle of July, which is when Wal-Mart seems to think it's okay to start selling X-mas crap.
I've heard rumors that the only reason Terry Zwigoff directed this film was so that he could make enough money to bring another Dan Clowes graphic novel (Ghost World, Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron, David Boring) to the big screen.
If this is his idea of a "sell-out" moneymaker than I can't wait to see his uncompromising independently funded feature!
Anybody heard the same?
Any speculation as to what Clowes' novel is next to adapt?
